With 86 comfortably furnished rooms overlooking the tranquil waters of the South China Sea the resort offers all the comforts of home and an ideal location for those who love the open sea. Each room is spacious, constructed of asian hardwood, and shares the look of the traditional long house of Borneo's tribal people.

The Raba Raba House massage center is the perfect spot for those of you who want to pamper yourself with a little extra foot reflexology or a deep muscle massage.
The enormous outdoor patio is where you will enjoy your breakfast while the sun is rising and where your hot and fresh dinner is served alfresco while the sun sets. A variety of international and asian cuisine is prepared daily using fresh spices, fruits, vegetables, and seafood. All meals are served buffet style, so eat as much as you like. Coffee, Tea, Drinking Water, and Snacks are always available between meal times free of charge.
You won't go hungry with meals served 5 times daily! Start your day with a complimentary breakfast of fresh tropical fruit, coffee, tea, fruit juices, toast, cereal, rice soup, eggs, beef sausage, egg noodles, baked beans, hash browns, chicken nuggets, and fried fish. Some of our favorite evening meals are the Beef in Black Pepper Sauce, Grilled Lamb, Fish n Chips, Fried Fish, Chinese Style Chicken, and the world famous Crab Sticks.

A World Class Dive Center!
Designed with comfort and convenience in mind, the dive center is staffed and operated by experienced dive professionals with varied backgrounds. All dive personnel are specially trained in the marine ecology of the Spratly Islands and are more than happy to show divers the local attractions as well as impart their knowledge of the local marine environment. The enthusiasm and dedication of the dive staff is evident in their interaction with guests, always with special attention on educating divers and promoting the safety and protection of the amazing ecosystem around Layang Layang Island.
The dive center has 10 custom designed catamaran dive boats that accommodate a maximum of 12 divers, a boat man and dive staff. Equipment in the dive center includes 300 units of 80cu ft aluminum tanks, Bauer KAP180 compressors, 20 sets of Scuba Pro BCD's and Regulators, fins, masks, booties, wet suits, weights, and belts. Dive Computer are available upon request.
With a maximum of 3 boat dives a day and unlimited house reef dives you are sure to see an impressive quantity of pelagic species, masses of big animals, white tip sharks, large gray sharks, dog tooth tuna, giant trevally, clusters of striped barracuda, and schools of jacks. The house reef, just outside the resort, is a great place to see an amazing array of small critters such as ghost pipefish, different species of shrimp and crab, tiny gobbies, and the amazing arc eyed hawk fish.
The resort practices a strict environmental conservation policy and requires all divers to agree to its Reef Conservation Policy set up under its Environmental Conservation Program.

Reserve Your Space with Only a 30% Deposit and Pay the Balance 60 Days Prior to Departure
Resort Packages (based on 2 guest sharing) Include: All prices are per person and include accommodation, all meals, most drinks (drinking water, coffee, tea, etc.), and round trip transfer between Layang Layang Island Resort and the Airport. For single divers you can share a room with another diver or pay a single supplement for a private room. Groups of 7 or more guests will receive an additional 1 extra space free of charge. Please contact Dive Adventures Asia for non-diver rates! A surcharge of 10% on package rates applies to all April departures.
Diving Packages Include: Professional english speaking dive master services, up to 3 boat dives daily (except on arrival and departure days), unlimited house reef dives with your buddy, scuba tanks, weights, and weight belt.
Additional Charges: Equipment rental is not included in the above prices and can be paid for upon arrival. Equipment rental is approximately $25 U.S. per day for a full set of equipment, depending on availability. PADI diving courses, and alcoholic beverages can be paid for at the resort.
How to Get There: Layang Layang Island is located off of the northern coast of Sabah / Borneo, which is Malaysia's eastern most state. The closest airport to Layang Layang is in Kota Kinabalu the capital of Sabah. Direct flights are available to Kota Kinabalu on Sabah from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and Singapore. It is approximately a one hour flight from Kota Kinabalu to Layang Layang by private charter ($285.00 round trip per person including airport taxes). Please check with Dive Adventures Asia on flight details from Kota Kinabalu to Layang Layang.

*Please note that flight times are approximate and can be changed by the airlines. You should plan to arrive at Kota Kinabalu Airport a minimum of one and a half hours before flight departure to Layang Layang. Departing from Kota Kinabalu on your last day at the resort you should schedule your connecting flight at least 3 hrs after estimated time of arrival from Layang Layang.
Layang Layang Island Resort Sample Itinerary
The itinerary of Layang Layang Island Resort is meant to deliver the very best diving around the Spratly Islands within the time allotted for the dive package. The schedule will consist primarily of 3 boat dives daily (unlimited house reef dives) with two dives on arrival day and 1 dive the day before departure. There is no diving on the day of departure.

Day of Arrival - (First day at Layang Layang Island Resort)Flight arriving from Kota Kinabalu. Day of Departure ( Last Day at Layang Layang Island Resort)
After breakfast and a morning swim you will be transferred by private charter flight to Kota Kinabalu to catch your connecting flight. There is no diving the last day at the resort.
