Built in 1999 the MV Dolphin Queen has a wealth of experience, a fun dive team, and quite a following among budget minded divers. If your looking for comfortable accommodation without all the bells and whistles, combined with incredible diving then you have arrived. At 24 meters long (79 ft.) and 6 meters wide (18 ft.) the Dolphin Queen accommodates a maximum of 24 guests in two Deluxe Double Bed Cabins on the upper Dec-10k, two Standard Double Bed Cabins, and four Standard Shared Bunk Cabins. The Double Bed and Standard Cabins are on the main Deck which gives them a bright and airy feeling equal to that of the larger Deluxe Cabins up top. All cabins feature air-conditioning, large sea view windows that open, and plenty of space to catch a good nights sleep. The Deluxe Cabins are the largest on the boat and also feature private doors that open to the outside to allow for incredible sea breezes in the mornings or evenings. There are three shared toilets and showers on the main Deck and two showers on the dive Deck that are well kept and maintained.

Utopia on the Water
Have you ever seen the movie "The Beach" with Leonardo Dicaprio? It's about a group of young backpacker travelers experiencing utopian living on an deserted tropical island in Thailand. Well, the MV Dolphin Queen is the Similan liveaboard that takes you there. This outstanding and professionally run Thailand liveaboard tends to attract young and fun long term travelers on a backpacker budget who are looking to meet fellow backpackers and experience some of the best diving on the planet. Her entire boat layout is designed for the ultimate in relaxation and guest interaction.
On the upper Deck behind the Wheel House and Deluxe cabins there is a nice large open air lounge area with tables, chairs, and a nice bench for relaxing. This area serves as the main social area and features an entertainment center with TV, DVD, and CD player. There is always a large selection of fish identification books, movies and CD's for your entertainment.
Meal time is a favorite on the Dolphin Queen and for good reason. Meals are served in the open air lounge where you will have great views of the Andaman Sea and always a sea breeze. In the morning you will have a European style breakfast which features Brown Bread, Omelets, Fried eggs, Sausages, Corn Flakes, Muesli, Tropical fruits, and fresh ground coffee or Nescafe. Lunch and Dinner are served buffet style and is a mixture of traditional Thai cuisine. Vegetarian food is also available so just tell us your needs. You will always find coffee, hot tea, toast, water, electrolyte drinks, and fresh fruits on the service counter for your convenience.
After a wonderful day of diving the best dive sites in Thailand, and all the food you can possibly eat, you can head to the sun Deck; where you can work on your tan, swing in the hammocks under the shade or have a traditional Thai massage. This is utopia on the water!

Liveaboard Trip Prices Include: all prices are per person and include accommodation on board, all meals, most drinks (drinking water, coffee, tea, etc.), professional dive master services, scuba tanks, weights, weight belt, full set of diving equipment, air, and 3-4 dives per day. We also include hotel transfers to and from the liveaboard on the day of departure and arrival. Save 1,000 baht if you bring your own full set of diving equipment!
Additional Charges: National park fees are not included in the above prices and can be paid for upon arrival. Park fees in Thailand are 800 Thai Baht for entry and 200 Thai Baht per day. PADI diving courses and alcoholic beverages will also be paid for on the boat.

The itinerary of the Dolphin Queen is meant to deliver the best diving of the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock within the time allotted for the liveaboard cruise. Her schedule will consist of 4 Day and 4 Night cruises to the best dive sites in Thailand (Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock). .

- 15:00 - 16:00 Check In, Orientation, Paperwork, Boat and Crew Introduction

Last Day on the Dolphin Queen
