Built
in 1999 to precise standards, Excalibur is one of the most impressive
liveaboards cruising the Andaman Sea. Tastefully done with clean
white lines and lots of high grade stainless steel she is truly
in a league of her own.
At 26 meters (84 ft.) and 6 meters (20 ft.) wide, she takes a maximum
of 14 guests in eight cabins. For added comfort, the cabins are
large, feature twin bed accommodation, and have a connected restroom
and shower. Two cabins share a restroom and shower so she's almost
en-suite. Her layout is quite comfortable, with the cabins, interior
saloon, and dive deck all on the same level. This makes it easy
to relax or roll out of bed for the next dive. The interior saloon
and cabins are cooled with a central air conditioning system. To
warm up, step out to the bow of the boat which leads to a sun deck
like no other. It's huge, clean, and is a great spot to see the
sights. The dive deck is also well laid out, making it easy to enter
and exit the water.
During
her trips to the Similans and Richelieu, Excalibur offers a level
of service and attention to detail that is difficult to find in
this price range. Understanding the experience guests expect,
her crew is service oriented and extremely professional. This
liveaboard, which is as close as you can get to a private yacht,
is setting new standards for comfort and customer service. Don't
