Built and completed on Phuket Island in 2004 the MV Jazz is a Similan liveaboard with loads of character and a huge following. She is constructed of asian hard woods from the northern provinces of Thailand and is designed to withstand the harshest of oceanic conditions. Though she is not a large or luxurious vessel by Thailand liveaboard standards, she is quite spacious and extremely comfortable. At 25 meters long (83 ft.) and 6 meters wide (19 ft.) she accommodates a maximum of 16 guests in eight comfortably appointed en-suite cabins. There are four Double bed cabins along with two Twin Bed cabins on the lower deck. Two of the Double bed cabins and two of the Twin bed cabins have en-suite semi-private toilet and shower, while the other two Double bed cabins each have a private en-suite toilet and shower. There are also two Twin Bed cabins on the main deck both with private en-suite toilet and shower. All cabins have central air conditioning, reading lamps, hot shower and toilet, wardrobe and shelves, comfortable bedding, and towels provided.
The Jazz is a standard class Thailand and Burma Liveaboard with a huge amount of character and comfort. With four qualified dive masters onboard you will receive plenty of personal attention both above and below the water. For those discerning divers who want to experience the very best diving of Thailand, the Burma Banks, and the Mergui Archipelago, you can't beat the value of the MV Jazz or her itinerary. Her rare 4 D / 5 N trips to the Mergui Archipelago are one of the best valued liveaboard trips in all of Southeast Asia.

Entertainment, Dining, and Common Areas
On the main deck there is a large air conditioned interior lounge which offers a comfortable seating area with both sofas and the extremely popular Thai-style cushions for relaxing on the floor. She has an entertainment center complete with DVD, TV, and music system.to plug in your digital still or video camera. The lounge is a favorite place to cool off between dives or relax in the evenings and view your latest underwater images and videos. Also on the main deck, forward of the wheelhouse is a large sundeck which offers beautiful views of the open seas during the day and incredible stargazing opportunities in the evening hours. This is always one of the most popular areas on the boat.
On the upper deck you will find a spacious and comfortable outdoor dining area that is perfect for dining alfresco under the stars or just relaxing with a cocktail and watching the evening sunset. This is where you will have buffet style meals consisting of both international and mouth watering Thai cuisine. Some of the favorites are pasta, steaks, salads, fresh fish and local vegetables. There will be plenty of food so eat as much as you like. There is also a small bar area here in the outdoor dining area, and snacks and beverages will be plentiful throughout the day. The meals on this liveaboard are legendary, you will love it!
Dive Deck Spacious and Well Organized
The dive deck of the Jazz is well laid out and spacious, with plenty of room for moving around and storing your equipment during the trip. Dive gear is set up at your station at the beginning of the trip and tanks are refilled between each dive. The benches are comfortable for suiting up, and there are storage bins below your station for your all your personal items. Wetsuits are hung up between dives so they are nice and dry. There are two four-meter (14ft) dinghies with outboard engines to pick you up or drop you off at the dive sites, when your not doing a giant stride off of the large dive platform. The crew of the MV Jazz is one of the most experienced on the Andaman Sea. They will get you to the best dive sites available, share their knowledge of exotic marine life, and ensure your diving holiday is one to remember. All that Jazz and more!
