Custom built and completed in Yangon, Mynamar in 2004 the MV Nautica is setting new standards of safety and service on her increasingly popular Thailand and Burma liveaboard cruises. At 24 meters (80 ft.) long and 5 meters (17 ft.) wide she isn't huge, but you dont need to be when there is a 12 guest maximum on the boat. Spacious and extremely comfortable she accomodates her 12 discerning guests in one Deluxe Master Cabin, four Deluxe Double / Twin Cabins and one Standard Twin Bunk Cabin. All the cabins feature individually controlled air conditioning, large ocean view windows which allow wonderful sea breezes, minibar, reading lamps, teak woodwork for a warm feeling, wardrobe with mirror, and two meter long beds. The Master Cabin and Deluxe Cabins are all en-suite with hot shower, hand basins, and towels provided. The Standard Cabin has a shared bathroom with all the same amenities. Every cabin is located either on the upper deck or main deck, has a bright and airy feeling, and is well appointed with modern styled furnishings. The overall feeling of this Thailand liveaboard can be best described as laid back luxury combined with great deal of personalized individual customer service.
Nautica is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the most comfortable and service oriented liveaboards operating in Burma and Thai waters. Her normal itinerary features four day and six day trips to the best diving of the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock. She also has monthly eight day cruises to Burma, featuring the mysterious waters of the Mergui Archipelago. Burma offers many dive sites that are just now being discovered, don't miss your trip on this Dive Adventures Asia liveaboard favorite!

A Style of Her Own
Nautica has a wonderful open air entertainment and dining area located on the spacious and well appointed upper deck. This shaded area serves as the main gathering place for dive briefings, diving courses, watching films, playing games, and socializing in the evenings or between dives. Meals are served here three times a day buffet-style with a variety of tasty Thai and European cuisine to choose from. Tropical fruits, snacks, hot tea, coffee and soft drinks are freely available throughout the trip. Beer, wine and other cocktails are available for purchase at the MV Nautica seaview bar.
There is an extremely comfortable cushioned lounge area at the rear of the upper deck. Relax here Thai style on big comfy cushions and read a book, listen to music, or catch an evening sunset. This is our favorite area of this Burma liveaboard as it is indicative of the overall philosophy of the cruise, "Laid Back Luxury." This liveaboard has a very social feeling where guests are enjoying the freedom of being on the open sea and taking in the best of Thailand and Burma.
Dont forget the spacious cushioned sun deck on top of the wheel house which is perfect for warming up in the tropical sun or unwinding after a full day of diving the Mergui Archipelago.
Spacious Dive Deck and Nitrox
The massive dive deck was designed for maximum utility and to make your scuba diving as easy and enjoyable as possible. There are two freshwater showers, a separate bathroom, extra storage space for diving equipment, wetsuit drying racks, two water exit ladders and a rinse tank for your underwater cameras/ video equipment, and dive computers.
M/V Nautica also provides weights, weight belts, 20 x 80 cu. ft. (10.7 litres) aluminium tanks with INT valves for use with standard yoke regulators, as well as a Nitrox blending station. The scuba diving tanks are conveniently filled between dives using two on-board Bauer Mariner 250E compressors which has an incredible oxygen cleaning system.
Nautica is equipped with a full Enriched Air Nitrox blending station on board for those of you who are certified nitrox divers and would like to take advantage of longer, deeper dive time. For those of you not yet nitrox certified, specialty nitrox courses are available during the trip for your convenience, just ask us for information.
Ultimate in Safety and Service
In addition to her extreme luxury the MV Nautica was built to rigourous International Maritime Organization (ISO) standards of safety, is capable of transoceanic voyages, and has the latest in communication and safety equipment on board. She was designed as a vessel which offers the ultimate in safety and luxury for those interested in a truly unforgettable liveaboard diving holiday. With state of the art safety and communications equipment, and one of the most experienced and professional crews on the Andaman Sea you can rest assured you are in safe hands and will receive the ultimate in customer service from this World Class Thailand Liveaboard!
