Custom built in Phuket in 2006 the MV Pawara is one of the newest additions to our Similan liveaboard fleet. She is the result of a design that has cleverly, elegantly, and smoothly blended together the modern amenities of today’s living with classic Thai craftsmanship. The interior and layout have been attentively selected to give guests comfort with a modern Thai-style ambience.
At 35 meters long (115 ft.) and 7 meters wide (23 ft.) the Pawara has the stability and size that few other diving vessels in Thailand can offer. Designed with plenty of space for relaxing in modern luxury she accommodates a maximum of 20 guests in four Deluxe Twin Cabins on the main deck, four Standard Twin Cabins on the main deck, and four Standard Cabins on the lower deck (it should be noted that head clearance on the lower deck is 1.8 meters). All of her cabins feature individually controlled air conditioning for your comfort, built in safe for your valuables, en-suite hot showers with toilet, large wardrobe with storage space, two meter long twin beds (there are no doubles),and picture or porthole windows for your viewing pleasure. The difference between the Deluxe Cabins and the Standard Cabins on the main deck is a little bit of extra space in the Deluxe Cabins. Both are spacious, airy and bright.
The Pawara and her crew will undoubtedly exceed your expectations, she is flawless and luxurious. At this price point her 6 Day / 7 Night Andaman Safaris which visit all of the best dive sites in Thailand are quickly gaining popularity and a following of return divers. 'Pawara' is an ancient Thai word meaning Treasure of the Corals, and this liveaboard is certainly a treasure for those discerning divers looking for an affordable, high quality option for exploring the best of Thailand's dive sites.

Entertainment, Dining, and Common Areas
On the upper deck of the Pawara there is spacious and luxurious indoor lounge area where you can spend your evenings, or just relax between dives and lots of good food. This area comes complete with air-conditioning, a variety of indoor board games, and a state of the art entertainment center which includes: wide screen TV, video player, DVD, CD player and the ever so popular karaoke machine. A personal computer is available for downloading your digital pictures onto CD, and fax and internet access are also available depending on liveaboard location.
The Pawara has a wonderfully appointed air-conditioned dining room that is reminiscent of a European restaurant. This area is great for cooling down during the afternoon with a cool drink or enjoying your lunch during the day. For those of you who would prefer to enjoy your meals with a fresh sea breeze, an equally impressive outdoor cafe area and bar are available on the upper deck where you can dine in the shade or the morning sun. Five wonderful meals will be served each and every day that will delight you and keep you diving. The menu will vary daily combining Thai cuisine, fresh seafood, and international dishes. Vegetarian meals are also available upon your request. Snacks, tea, coffee, and soft drinks are available throughout the day. The chef takes great pride in her kitchen and keeps it spotless and always smelling of tasty food.
For you sun lovers and star gazers there is an enormous area on the top deck furnished with Thai style cushions where you can have an evening cocktail or two as you cruise the Andaman Sea. This is also a great spot for spotting Whale Sharks, Dolphins, and Manta Rays!
